NOW ACCEPTING NEW STUDENTS
"I know how hard it is to find truly great teachers—ones who not only know their subject inside and out, but who also connect with kids in a real, human way. Alan is one of those rare gems.
He’s been teaching my daughter Julia guitar for three years now, and I honestly don’t know where we’d be without him. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, yes—but more than that, he’s kind, patient, professional, and somehow always knows how to motivate Julia without ever pushing too hard. She wants to practice. She wants to show up and do her best. That says everything.
She’s also been part of the guitar band he leads, and watching her jam with Max (her drummer friend) has been pure joy. Not only is she learning to play, she’s learning to listen, to collaborate, and to feel the music.
Alan treats his students with such respect and care. He shows up, he’s flexible when life gets messy, and he never makes you feel like just another client. You can tell this is more than a job for him—it’s his calling.
Honestly, if every teacher were like Alan, the world would be a better place—and a much more musical one! So from one very grateful mom: thank you, Alan. Keep doing what you’re doing. Rock on!

"I truly wish I had found a program like Alan’s years ago. For starters, it’s taken my guitar playing to another level. I’m learning songs faster and with purpose. And I’m not afraid to tackle more complicated songs. I’ve gained confidence in my playing and in myself. I’m more comfortable onstage, talking and performing in front of a live audience. What’s more, the program has helped me think on my feet and react to curveballs that happen in the moment. Many of the skills I’ve developed I’m able to take with me into my professional career. My family and friends are getting to see a side of me they never imagined. And most importantly, I’m having the time of my life. And why shouldn’t I be? I’m in a friggin’ rock band!!!
