NOW ACCEPTING NEW STUDENTS
Alan Pearson is a passionate guitarist and dedicated music educator who has spent a lifetime immersed in the transformative power of music.
"I truly wish I had found a program like Alan’s years ago. For starters, it’s taken my guitar playing to another level. I’m learning songs faster and with purpose. And I’m not afraid to tackle more complicated songs. I’ve gained confidence in my playing and in myself. I’m more comfortable onstage, talking and performing in front of a live audience. What’s more, the program has helped me think on my feet and react to curveballs that happen in the moment. Many of the skills I’ve developed I’m able to take with me into my professional career. My family and friends are getting to see a side of me they never imagined. And most importantly, I’m having the time of my life. And why shouldn’t I be? I’m in a friggin’ rock band!!!"

With a strong foundation based in classical, jazz, and rock guitar, Alan brings both technical expertise and heartfelt expression to every lesson.
Over the years, his passion for guitar opened doors to a wide array of instruments—bass, banjo, mandolin, ukulele, and drums—each enriching his understanding of music and deepening his connection with students.
Alan has performed live at venues across the country and recorded with a variety of artists. These experiences continue to shape and inspire his approach to teaching.
At the core of Alan’s teaching philosophy is the belief that music education should be as individual as the student. He tailors every lesson to align with his student’s personal goals. Whether it’s mastering their favorite song, preparing for a performance, or simply discovering the joy of making music. By incorporating the music that inspires his students—be it classic rock, jazz standards, or modern indie gems—Alan helps his students connect emotionally with their instrument, making the learning process both meaningful and motivating.
Alan’s students don’t just learn how to play—they learn how to express themselves through music.
